For a US firm, that means reading incoming correspondence, such as USPTO email notifications and foreign associate reports, matching it to the right matter, filing it and preparing the entry for your docketing system, with sign-off wherever you require it. It runs on a server in your network with a local language model. The automation never files anything with a patent office.

USPTO email notifications, including e-Office Action notifications, are classified, matched to the matter and filed. The docketing entry is prepared for review.

Reports and instructions from foreign associates arrive in many formats and languages. They are classified, matched and filed, with a draft acknowledgment ready.
Foreign associate invoices
Invoices in EUR, JPY or other currencies are read, converted and prepared as disbursements against the right matter.
Foreign annuities
Instructions and confirmations for foreign annuities are processed and documented in the matter.
Docketing prep
We prepare entries; your docketing staff reviews and confirms them. You define which entries need sign-off, and we recommend it for every deadline.
Runs inside your network
The automation runs on a dedicated server in your environment, with a local language model. Client data is processed there, not on servers in Germany, and not by a third-party AI service unless you approve one. We operate and maintain the system remotely, coordinated with your IT.

Your professional duties stay with your firm
Your firm remains responsible for client confidentiality and for every paper filed. We design deployments to support the duties discussed in ABA Model Rule 1.6(c), ABA Formal Opinion 512 on generative AI tools (July 29, 2024) and the USPTO guidance on the use of AI-based tools in practice before the Office (April 11, 2024): processing inside your network, no training of third-party models on your data, human review where you define it, and logging of every automated action. Your attorneys remain the reviewers and signatories.

Frequently asked questions
Does our data leave the United States?
The automation and the language model run on a server in your network, and processing happens there. We do not route your data through servers in Germany. Remote maintenance is coordinated with your IT.
Which docketing systems do you support?
We have built production integrations for PatOrg and Patricia. For other systems, including the one your firm uses, we check the available API in the first call. If there is no usable API, we say so.
Can it handle USPTO notifications?
Incoming USPTO email notifications are classified and matched like any other correspondence. How documents are retrieved from Patent Center is defined in the pilot.
Does the automation file anything with the USPTO?
No. It prepares entries and drafts inside your firm. Anything that is filed is reviewed and signed by your attorneys.
What does it cost?
We agree on the pilot scope and price in the call. Pricing for operation depends on volume and modules, and after the pilot you decide whether to continue.
